WWW Wednesday #66

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Yours Truly – Abby Jimenez

After loving Part of Your World, I really wanted to pick up Yours Truly. I actually did start reading this in March, but ended up getting distracted. Last week I finally picked it back up and read it in one sitting. I’m so glad I did. Briana and Jacob’s romance was amazing and I loved how they were exactly what the other needed. Abby Jimenez is becoming a favorite author.

Summer Romance – Annabel Monaghan

Summer Romance was on my radar, but I did end up picking it up sooner than expected. A booktuber I follow read this in a vlog and loved it, and that made me even more curious. I finished Summer Romance in two sittings and it was so good. Our main character Ali has gone through a lot, but a run in with a handsome man at the dog park has her thinking it’s time for her to take her life back. This book is so much more than a romance!

What are you currently reading?

The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year – Ally Carter

I know it’s only July and that The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year doesn’t release until the end of September, but I couldn’t resist starting this one. It’s the perfect mix of action and romance so far. The banter and possible romance make it hard to put this one down. I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t end up being a five star read.

Mile High – Liz Tomforde

I’ve had Mile High on my shelves for way to long and this sports romance has been starting at me. As I’m typing this, I’m only about 80 pages in, and I can’t tell you too much about it yet, but I have a feeling I’m going to love this one.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Don’t Want You Like a Best Friend – Emma R. Alban

My swoon read of the month is Don’t Want You Like a Best Friend and the discussion is on the 21st, so it’s time for me to pick this one up. It’s described as a lesbian Bridgerton/The Parent Trap and that definitely caught my attention. I hope I love it as much as I expect to.

Glow of the Everflame – Penn Cole

Spark of the Everflame is a book I was seeing everywhere and decided I needed to know what the hype was all about. I ended up enjoying is so much, that I need to continue with the sequel ASAP! These books get bigger as they go, but with the fourth and final book releasing at the end of July, I want to be caught up.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read anything amazing recently? Or what are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
