Bookish Item| What I Read in a Week Part 1

A trend I see a lot on TikTok and even bookstagram is that people show and tell us what they read in a week. Even though it won’t be as visual as a reel or video on TikTok, I thought it would be fun to track my reading for a week (I do anyways, because I track how many pages I read a day).

So here is what I read the week of June 3rd – June 9th. Let’s take a look at what I read last week!

You Should Be So Lucky – Cat Sebastian (143 pages)

Total pages this week: 2,491 pages

As you can see I don’t stick to just one book during the week. Help Me Remember is what I refer to as my phone book. I read about a chapter a day on that to keep my streak going on my Kindle app. I always read a physical book during my commute to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This week that was Authentically, Izzy. I also tend to read quite a bit on my workdays, because I also listen to an audiobook while waiting for the train and when I’m on the bus. The weekends tend to be busy, but this one was a quiet one, so I got quite a bit of reading done. I read a lot while listening along with the audiobook. This also helps me speed through books.

So that’s what I read in a week! This was actually really fun to track. At the end of this month I have almost two weeks off of work, so I’m going to be back with a post of what I read in a week when I’m not working. Do you track your reading? Or have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.

  1. That’s a LOT of books! I enjoy reading a few at a time, but I might actually try this process out to get more books read during the year.
