It’s the last day of May, so I want to tell you about my June reading plans. As you know, I never completely stick to my TBRs, but they’re still fun to make. Let’s take a look at my June TBR!
Book Club/Buddy Reads
Late Bloomer – Mazey Eddings
My swoon read for June is Late Bloomer and look at this pretty cover! Late Bloomer is an opposites attract romance and that’s all I know. I like not knowing too much about books before I pick them up to read.
The Burning God – R.F. Kuang
So I’m actually writing this post before we’re halfway through May, so I haven’t even started The Dragon Republic yet. That being said The Burning God is the final book in this trilogy and I’ll be reading it for series slayers in June. I have a feeling that these books are only going to become more intense.
ARCs
Summer Romance – Annabel Monoghan
It’s June, so time for some summer romances and that’s literally the title of this one. Our main character’s life has been messy, but I have a feeling a summer romance is going to change Ali’s life.
Past Present Future – Rachel Lynn Solomon
Today Tonight Tomorrow is one of my favorite YA books and I’m so excited about Past Present Future! I already read a first chapter for a blog post and it had me hooked right away. This will probably be one of my first reads in June.
Backlist/Physical TBR
The Poisons We Drink – Bethany Baptiste
I only recently added The Poisons We Drink to my shelves, but I really want to read it. Love potions are dangerous and not only illegal, but painful for the one who makes them. I have a feeling this is going to be an amazing read.
The True Love Experiment – Christina Lauren
The True Love Experiment is one I should’ve read last year, but didn’t get around to. I love that our main character is a romance author who hasn’t ever really been in love. Add a TV show to help her find said love and you’ve got my attention.
Happily Ever Afters – Elise Bryant
Happily Ever Afters released in 2021 and it’s one I’ve been so excited about reading, so why haven’t I read it yet?!? I really don’t know, but it’s time to change that. Our main character wants to see herself in a romance book, so decides to write one herself. When at a prestigious writing program, her words disappear. It seems like a real life romance may bring back her words. Sounds like a fun summer read!
So I don’t have many books on this TBR, but I definitely want to read all of these. Otherwise, I’ll see where my reading takes me. What do you plan on reading in June? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
I hope you love everything you pick up this month! I’m hoping to finish up The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb this month.
