WWW Wednesday #62

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Truly, Madly, Deeply – Alexandria Bellefleur

Alexandria Bellefleur is an author I’ve come to love and Truly, Madly, Deeply did not disappoint. This book had me smiling and laughing out loud. Truly and Colin were so much fun together and I loved how Colin didn’t give up. I love the romance, but I do wish we had gotten more of the podcast they agreed to host together.

The Summer of Broken Rules – K.L. Walther

The Summer of Broken Rules is one I saw quite often online and knew I needed to read. I’m normally not much of a fan of instalove, but the connection between Meredith and Wit felt genuine. I also appreciated that the romance aspect didn’t take over the book, but we also dealt with losing a family member, family, letting yourself live again, and opening up your heart.

What are you currently reading?

See You Yesterday – Rachel Lynn Solomon

Rachel Lynn Solomon is one of my favorite authors and I’m surprised that I’m only now reading See You Yesterday. I love Groundhog Day stories and this one started off in such a fun way. Barrett’s first day of college doesn’t go as planned as all and needless to say she’s shocked to wake up the next morning to realize the day started all over again. I’ve only read about 50 pages, but I’m excited to read more.

Fragile Sanctuary – Catherine Cowles

I’ve been wanting to read something by Catherine Cowles for quite some time and I decided why not start with the first book of her latest series? Look at this stunning cover! The brother’s best friend trope can be a lot of fun. Just like with my previous book, I haven’t read much, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read so far.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Dragon Republic – R.F. Kuang

When this comes online I’ll hopefully be pretty far into The Dragon Republic. After loving The Poppy War, I’ll be surprised if this one doesn’t pull me in right away.

Glint – Raven Kennedy

I actually started The Plated Prisoner series last year, but I stopped when I heard that the next book in the series was postponed and there would be one more book than expected. Gild was a book I really enjoyed and I’ve only heard people say that the books keep getting better and better.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! Have you read anything amazing recently? Or what are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
