We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
The stunning third book in the sexy, action-packed Crescent City series, following the global bestsellers House of Earth and Blood and House of Sky and Breath.
Bryce Quinlan never expected to see a world other than Midgard, but now that she has, all she wants is to get back. Everything she loves is in Midgard: her family, her friends, her mate. Stranded in a strange new world, she’s going to need all her wits about her to get home again. And that’s no easy feat when she has no idea who to trust.
Hunt Athalar has found himself in some deep holes in his life, but this one might be the deepest of all. After a few brief months with everything he ever wanted, he’s in the Asteri’s dungeons again, stripped of his freedom and without a clue as to Bryce’s fate. He’s desperate to help her, but until he can escape the Asteri’s leash, his hands are quite literally tied.
In this sexy, breathtaking sequel to the #1 bestsellers House of Earth and Blood and House of Sky and Breath, Sarah J. Maas’s Crescent City series reaches new heights as Bryce and Hunt’s world is brought to the brink of collapse-with its future resting on their shoulders.
The release of Crescent City #3 is getting closer and closer and I truly cannot wait! After finishing the second book in the series, House of Sky and Breath, I needed the sequel immediately. And lately I have seen so many theories, mainly on TikTok, that I just have to know what happens next.
I just finished my reread of the Throne of Glass series and will then reread the ACOTAR series and Crescent City series with a friend. And then I will be all ready for House of Flame and Shadow I hope haha. There are just so many details that might be important and probably foreshadowing that won’t make sense until you read the next book haha.
When this series was announced, they announced three books. But since nothing in the synopsis refers to a series finale or something I’m thinking there will be more books. And since there are more then 3 Houses in Crescent City it would make sense that this is longer than 3 books. While I love it when we have longer series, it does mean we probably get another cliffhanger haha.
Are you excited for this release? And do you think there will be more than 3 books in the Crescent City series? Let me know in the comments down below!
I own the first two in this series but haven’t read them yet. Might as well wait until this one comes out to start now. Lovely cover and I hope you love it!
I haven’t read Maas yet but I’ve heard SO much.
Greg recently posted…The Sands of Time Chapter 42
Hey there,
I just stumbled upon this post and I gotta say that I feel you. I already filled out my TBR for December and it holds Empire of the Vampire (because the next book is also coming soon after) and of course the two volumes of Crescent City. All three books will be rereads as well. ????
