It’s been a little while but lately I’ve been getting back into fanfiction. Tiktok is to blame for sure haha. But seeing video’s on some of the fanfictions out there got me super excited. I’m mostly focused on Harry Potter related fanfics, there is just so much to do with all of the characters. Let’s take a look at a couple of the ones I’m currently reading!

Choices – MesserMoon (AO3)

People make mistakes, but they also make choices. It’s important to James, that difference. He does his best not to confuse the two.

This is a Jegulus fanfic and I have been enjoying it so much. I adore Regulus and I’m so happy to read more about him. This fic is written super well and I’m flying through it! I am a little bit scared to see where this will end as it is canon compliant. We all know what happens to Regulus in the end and I’m not sure I’m ready for that ;).

Manacled – Senlinyu (AO3)

Harry Potter is dead. In the aftermath of the war, in order to strengthen the might of the magical world, Voldermort enacts a repopulation effort. Hermione Granger has an Order secret, lost but hidden in her mind, so she is sent as an enslaved surrogate to the High Reeve until her mand can be cracked.

After seeing some fanfic and multiple videos I knew I had to read this Dramione fic. Usually I’m not a big fan of DracoxHermione but I’ve heard nothing but great things about this fic. And I’m hoping this one will change my mind on this ship. The first couple of chapters have been great and I’m very invested in the rest of the story.

Our Last Summer – Ivanisamarauder (AO3)

Molly Weasley was not always a mother and a wife. Before, she was a daughter, a sister, and a lover. After the 7th year ended in Juni of 1968, Molly moved away from home and learned a little about love, passion, and heartbreak. She discovers the Beatles and that not everyone is as they seem; life is complicated. As time goes on, and the war escalates, Molly learns that grief isn’t linear. Follow along with Molly and the Prewetts as they venture into adulthood and the war against Lord Voldemort.

I follow the author on Tiktok, she has amazing content. She is mostly known for her MollyxAlastor stories and her Moms of the Wizarding World. This fanfiction is all about the MollyxAlastor ship (without discrediting Arthur!). I loved the first couple of chapters and I can’t wait to continue.
