We already try keeping track of our TBR in different ways, but it’s also fun to look at them in themes. That’s one of the reasons why the bookish meme 5 On My TBR is so much fun. This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. And this week’s prompt is Light Reads. That’s more difficult than I thought it would be to be honest. Let’s take a look!
1. The Unexpected Everything – Morgan Matson
I loved the Morgan Matson book I read previously and I’ve had this one on my shelves for quite a while now. While I did plan on reading it pretty soon, I still haven’t read it yet. And I think I’ve owned this for years now haha. The cover is super cute and I think this will be a pretty soon read.
2. Ship It – Britta Lundin
I love the naked hardback of this one so much. Definitely part of the reason I bought it haha. The synopsis also sounds fun, and I like that it’s set at a Con. It has gotten quite some negative reviews but I’m still hoping for a fun and light read.
3. Save the Date – Morgan Matson
Another Morgan Matson book! I really need to read these soon so I can get her newest book. But I won’t buy it as long as I have two of her books unread on my shelves haha. This one is hopefully a lot of fun. I love this cover and think it will be a great light read.
4. The Bromance Bookclub – Lyssa Kay Adams
I did read part of this already and absolutely loved it. The copy I have here is actually Candyce’s and I need to read the rest soon so I can give it back to her haha. Like I said, I loved what I read so far and I think the rest of the book will be great as well. I’m pretty sure I’ll want to read the rest of the series as soon as I finish this one.
5. Get A Life, Choe Brown – Talia Hibbert
This is the only ebook on my TBR. I’ve bought it through Amazon as a daily deal I believe. At some point I did read the first chapter or 2 and did like that. I really need to continue this one, everyone seems to love this series. While I don’t read a lot of books like this one, I do think I might like it a lot!
While I don’t read that many ‘light’ reads, I do think these will be 5 amazing books! I hope to read them quite soon. Which one should I (continue to) read first? Let me know in the comments!
Ohh, The Unexpected Everything!! That was such a fun read! I would definitely recommend that one first. 🙂
