TTT #181| Colorful Book Covers

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is colorful book covers. I’ve been loving all the colorful covers lately, so let’s see what ten I choose for today! I have a mix of books already out in the world and releasing this year.

The Beauty That Remains – Ashley Woodfolk

The week before typing this I finished When You Were Everything. When I did I totally forgot about having this book on my shelf by the same author. I loved When You Were Everything, so this will be a priority soon.

With You All the Way – Cynthia Hand

Look at this beautiful cover! As I’m typing this I’m listening to the audiobook. So far it’s good and I definitely think this author will be ending up on my auto-buy list. Reading this is making me want to visit Hawaii, haha.

Pride and Premeditation – Tirzah Price

As you know if you follow the blog, I read a lot of books at once. I’ve read a few chapters of this and think it’s going to be one I enjoy. I’ve been enjoying mysteries and thrillers more and more lately.

The House in the Cerulean Sea – TJ Klune

This beautiful cover matches the amazing story behind it. I will not be forgetting The House in the Cerulean Sea anytime soon. I can’t recommend this book enough and I’m anxiously awaiting the next book by TJ Klune.

The Sky Blues – Robbie Couch

Another bright and colorful cover. I’m loving cover designs these days. The Sky Blues is a cute book and I really loved the characters in it. If you love diverse contemporary books definitely pick this one up.

You’ve Reached Sam – Dustin Thao

You’ve Reached Sam is one of my most anticipated releases of 2021! If I Stay and Your Name are both things I’ve enjoyed and this novel is pitched as a combination of both. I have a feeling this one will break my heart, but it’s going to be worth it.

Dial A for Aunties – Jesse Q. Sutanto

A combination of rom-com and murder mystery? When I read that I knew I needed this book. Dial A for Aunties sounds like a book that will make me laugh out loud, but also have me hooked all at the same time.

Shipped – Meredith Tate

Enemies to lovers and also an online friendship through fandom? That’s all I need to know to want this book. Shipped releases next month and I know it’s going to be perfect for this summer!

Shadows of Winterspell – Amy Wilson

I’ve been reading middle grade books more and more lately. Including Shadows of Winterspell. The cover caught my attention immediately and it was an interesting story to read. I’m actually sad it’s a standalone though, because a lot of questions weren’t answered and it did feel a bit rushed at times. Shadows of Winterspell was a fun read though.

Hazel Bly and the Deep Blue Sea – Ashley Herring Blake

Ashley Herring Blake is an author I enjoy reading books by her. I have a feeling Hazel Bly and the Deep Blue Sea will be an emotional read, but a beautiful one.
