We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is actually funny book titles, but I’m not feeling that one this week. So I’m going to do last week’s topic Spring 2021 TBR. I recently did a bookish Spring cleaning for my arcs, but now let’s check out some of my physical books that I want to read this Spring.
This is Not the Jess Show – Anna Carey
I saw this book everywhere before it released and I have to say that caught my attention. This is Not the Jess Show has some amazing reviews so far! I’m really starting to enjoy thrillers and I love the 90’s vibe. I’ll definitely be reading this one soon!!
Are We There Yet? – Kathleen West
If I’m honest, I’ve never heard of this author. I saw some bookstagrammers post about it this past week and it definitely made me want to read it. Social media and family secrets? Yes, please?!? It’s also really interesting that the POV is switched between mothers and their teenagers.
The Extraordinaries – TJ Klune
I really enjoyed The House in the Cerulean Sea and now I need to read The Extraordinaries. This is one I have an e-arc of, but also a hardcover that I got for Christmas. The Extraordinaries is a book I’ve also heard a lot of positive things about. TJ Klune could easily become and auto-buy author!
Perfect on Paper – Sophie Gonzales
Perfect on Paper is another one I have an e-arc of, but couldn’t resist also buying the paperback after loving Only Mostly Devastated. Isabelle already read this one and loved it. I love the concept of giving anonymous love advice.
Skyhunter – Marie Lu
Skyhunter is a book I’ve already started reading. I’m really good at getting really distracted and I was already 97 pages in. What I’ve read so far was really interesting and after seeing the cover reveal for the next book I really need to finish this one. It’s also smart to do before I forget what I’ve read.
A Heart so Fierce and Broken – Brigid Kemmerer
This is another case of why haven’t I read this one yet?!? I loved A Curse so Dark and Lonely! It may have been a case of there being a lot of hype. I’m always afraid to start a book when there’s so many people talking about it.
Unravel the Dusk – Elizabeth Lim
Spin the Dawn ended up being one of my favorite books last year. It was such a pleasant surprise. The covers are also stunning (and the recent reveal of the UK covers was amazing). I need to know how these characters continue their journey.
Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare
The Infernal Devices is my favorite trilogy in the Shadowhunter world and I’ve been waiting for this spin off to be released. I recently got Chain of Iron, so I’m hoping it pushes me to pick this one up really soon. They’re bigger books, but
Hollowpox – Jessica Townsend
Part of me has been wanting to save this one until we’re closer to the release of the next book, but the other part really wants to read this one really soon! I may save it for middle grade May. I really recommend this series if you love middle grade books!
Undercover Bromance – Lyssa Kay Adams
The Bromance Book Club was amazing and again I’m afraid after loving it so much that I’m not going to enjoy this one just as much. That being said the fourth book is releasing later this year, so it’s time for me to catch up!

Let me know which ones I need to read first! Also, feel free to share your TTT links in the comments. I’d love to see some funny titles.
I haven’t read any of these but most of them are on my TBR. Good luck with your reading! Hope you’ll manage to read some of them in spring 🙂
