We’re two weeks away from Christmas Eve and I thought that was the perfect time to do a Christmas book tag. I recently saw the Baby It’s Cold Outside Book Tag when scrolling through Twitter and it looked like a lot of fun, so let’s take a look at the tag created by Reading On a Star!
- Thank the person who tagged you and link to their post. (I wasn’t tagged, so I’m tagging myself).
- Display the banner(copy and paste).

- Answer the questions!
Tag however many people as you want!Tag yourself if you think this tag is one you’d like to do!
Snow Day – What’s your “comfort” book?
I have many comfort books. Anything that can leave a smile on my face will work. Instead of repeating myself with what I normally would choose, I decided to choose a book I would see as comfort book that I first read this year. I would have to choose Today Tonight Tomorrow. That book made me smile a lot! I’ll definitely be re-reading it in the future.
Snow Angels – What’s a book that you love so much you would want to be buried with it(a little morbid, but…)?
This one is a bit morbid, haha. I get the idea though. A new book that I love so much I want to be buried with would be Spoiler Alert! This romance was so amazing and it was everything I wanted and needed.
Warm Socks – What’s a book that makes you feel warm inside?(The fluffiest, cutest romance you’ve ever read?)
A romance that made me feel warm inside was in You Should See Me in a Crown. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t perfect, they had their ups and downs, but I loved Liz & Mack. If you haven’t read this amazing contemporary, I definitely recommend you do.
Hot Cocoa – What winter-themed novels have you previously read?
I’ve read way too many winter/holiday themed books to mention here, so I want to talk about one I recently read. In a Holidaze was one I read in October and it put me in the holiday spirit immediately. I saw the audiobook is now available on Storytel, so I may just have to listen to it this month for a re-read.
Sledding – What’s a book with the best plot twists? Who’s an author that always keeps you on your toes?
One of Us is Next isn’t necessarily one with a lot of plot twists, but the author shocked me with the final scene in that book. It wasn’t something I didn’t see coming and it fit the book perfectly. Karen M. McManus is an author that keeps me on my toes.
Ugly Sweaters – What’s a book with the ugliest cover?
I’m a big fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout and she’s definitely become an auto-buy author for me. Unfortunately, I do not like the cover changes for the Origin series at all. The stars and colors were gorgeous on the first two, but they had to go put models on the third book and redo the first two. I’ll still get the third book, but I’m not a fan of the cover!
Movie Marathon – What’s the last book you binge read?
Good Girl, Bad Blood is the last book I just couldn’t put down. It definitely got darker than the first book, but it was so good. I can’t wait for Holly Jackson to publish the next book in the series.
Letter to Santa – What’s a book that’s on your wishlist this year?
I have many books on my wishlist this year, but one of them is A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. This is one I actually ordered myself when it released, but when my order was sent the package was really damaged including the book. It had to be sent back and I just haven’t ordered it again. I really need to read it, so A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire just had to be on my wishlist.
So that’s the Baby It’s Cold Outside Book Tag. Tag yourself if you think it looks like fun, but please let me know when you do! I’d love to read your answers. As for letters to Santa, what books are on your wishlist?
