Powerless is a book that seemed to take the bookish community by storm. This book sounded right up my alley, so I was really excited to read it. I think it took me a bit longer, because reading hyped books is always a bit tricky, because sometimes you go in with higher expectations without realizing it. I did finally sit down and read Powerless and want to tell you about the book and my thoughts today, so keep on reading!

Review| The Night in Question – Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson

Last year I read The Agathas and thought it was a great start to a new mystery series. The sequel, The Night in Question, was an anticipated release of mine, because I was curious to see what this crime solving duo would do next. Belladonna is a book that has received a lot of hype since releasing in 2022. I even grabbed an eARC of this book when it was read now on Netgalley. When a book is really hyped, I tend to be careful, because I’m afraid the hype is going to get my expectations too high.
