It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

A Sign of Affection Vol. 12 – Suu Morishita

I’ve been anxiously awaiting vol. 12  and I didn’t even realize it was out. My fiancé looked it up and saw it released a few months ago. It was great being back with these characters. Not much happens in this volume, but I’m okay with that.

Wyatt – Jessica Peterson

After loving Cash, I was waiting for Wyatt to be released. Then this series got picked up by Bloom, so I decided to wait for that copy. Now I finally got around to reading this friends to lovers romance. Wyatt and Sally were a great couple, but the beginning just felt a bit slow. If either of them had just said something and talked about their feelings, this book could’ve gone a lot quicker. That being said, I still had a great time! Jessica Peterson knows how to write a spicy scene.

What are you currently reading?

Mudlark – Mary Helen Specht

After reading Daggermouth this year, I kind of ended up leaning towards dystopian stories. Mudlark caught my eye for that that reason. At this moment, I’ve only read about 50 pages. The world seems interesting and I have a feeling this one could also end up hitting me in the feels.

My Roommate from Hell – Cale Dietrich

This book caught my eye before it released last year, but I’m just not getting around to reading it. A YA romcom where our main character discovers his roommate is a prince of hell sounded right up my alley. I’m at 75% right now, but for some reason I’m just not enjoying it that much and I can’t quite put my finger on why.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Wolf.e – Paisley Hope

Paisley Hope is an author I’ve enjoyed so far. Her cowboy romances are a great time. Wolf.e is an MC romance and I have to say that’s not something I read a lot of, but I’ve heard great things about this book. A friend of mine gave Wolf.e five stars and we tend to both love the same books. So I’m excited to see what I think!

King of Wrath – Ana Huang

So far I’ve read a few books by Ana Huang and they’ve just been okay for me. I didn’t hate them, but they didn’t blow me away. It’s made me wonder if this author is for me. King of Wrath and King of Pride are two unread books on my shelves I’ll use to test this out.
