We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is an Indie Freebie, but that’s not something I can write a top 10 about. So I decided to go with last week’s topic; Books With Nationalities In The Title. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find 10 books for this topic, but I will try my best. So let’s jump in!

1. American Royals

One of only 3 books with a nationality in the title that I actually read haha. This is also the one I think I enjoyed the most! I thought this was a really fun series and it’s a bit of a shame I never finished reading the series, but I think I won’t go back to it now.

2. Crazy Rich Asians

I really liked the movie and obviously also had to read the book. It was fun and I’m glad I read it, but it’s not like I would recommend it to everyone as a must read.

3. Anna and the French Kiss

I totally forgot about this book! This series used to be so popular online, but not everyone loved it. I thought it was enjoyable, but it’s not something I would still pick up now I think.

4. Dirty English

It’s been years since I added this book to my want to read list on Goodreads, but I think I would have more luck reading this now then I would’ve back then haha. To be honest, I have no idea what this one is about, but the cover promises something good haha.

5. American Gods

There are a lot of books with American something in the title haha. This is a beloved book by many, but I’ll admit I didn’t love the Neil Gaiman I’ve read before. Now I’m just not sure if I want to give this one a try, it might be more my kind of book but I don’t have high hopes to be honest.

6. American Assassin

I really enjoyed the movie for this one, possibly because it has some of my favorite actors. After watching the movie, I added the book on Goodreads, or maybe I did before watching the movie. Right now I’m not sure why I also wanted to read the book haha.

7. The Scottish Boy

I totally forgot about this book, but I really like the title! It’s also a historical MM romance, something I can appreciate a lot. Maybe I will pick this book up at some point, the reviews are quite positive!

8. American Dirt

The last one on my list, because unfortunately I couldn’t find 10 books for this topic. This one is a book I really wanted to read at the time and I still think this could be a book I would enjoy a lot. It’s not my typical kind of book, but sometimes it’s good to try something different!
