We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

My first full week of teaching this school year was this past week and now I am tired haha. The kids are great and I already like my class a lot, but being back that first week is insanely tiring. I immediately had trouble eating dinner at night because of how tired I am. This weekend I also had a big party at my friends place and yesterday I went to the Efteling with some friends of the family. We had a great time, but I am still tired haha.

I had a pretty good reading time and these past 2 weeks I managed to read 7 books! All of a sudden I craved another reread of the All for the Game series, so that was 5 books read in less than a week haha. I also listened to the audiobooks for A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury. At the moment I’m back to listening to Kingdom of Ash and I’m still reading The Poison Daughter.

I’m doing another rewatch; this time it’s Chicago P.D. Some plot lines are still almost fresh in my mind, other things I had forgotten completely haha.

My songs on repeat have been a podcast these past couple of weeks. I have been listening to The Prosecutors covering the Lindsay Clancy trial almost non stop. It’s so interesting and I love hearing their perspectives as they are both lawyers.
