It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

What did you recently finish reading?

Mate – Ali Hazelwood

I loved Bride when it released and I’m surprised it took me so long to finally pick up Mate. This was another amazing paranormal romance. I would’ve loved more of Koen’s POV though and I will say the way the audiobook pronounced his name irritated me. All in all, Serena’s story was great and I actually wouldn’t mind more in this world.

Fossil Feud – Maggie North

Fossil Feud is a romance with two palaeontologists. I can say that’s something I’ve never read, but I had such a great time. Ripley felt betrayed in many ways and didn’t trust anymore, but James saw right through that. Fossil Feud is heartwarming and also a tad emotional at times, but it’s also a feel good romance at the same time. I highly recommend!

What are you currently reading?

The Winged Game – Sophie Kim

A fantasy sports romance? Yes, please! I love the idea of this combination and after just two chapters I know I’m going to love this story. The Winged Game is going to take me a bit to read though. I’m doing a buddy read with a friend and we’re reading a couple of chapters a day. I’ll be savoring this one.

Yours for the Season – Emily Stone

I know it’s only August, but I’ve been craving Christmas romances. Yours for the Season is one on my backlist and I have about half an hour to go. We did just take a bit of a heavy turn, but I’m still hoping for a happily ever after.

What do you think you’ll read next?

A Dance of Lies – Brittney Arena

A Dance of Lies has been staring at me since it released last year. This book has been recommended for fans of Throne of Glass and we all know that’s my favorite series. Our main character is a dancer, but turns into a spy? The sequel just released, so it’s a great time to curl up with this one.

Wyatt – Jessica Peterson

You can never go wrong with a cowboy romance and Wyatt has been on my shelves for way too long. Cash is the first book in that series and I had such a great time. We get a little preview of Wyatt at the end of that one, so I know it’s going to be a wild ride.
