We’re almost entering my favorite time of year: the ‘ber’ months! This is the cozy time of year and really my favorite season to read in. I also have three weeks off of work starting about halfway through the month, so I should also be reading more!
Today I want to talk about my September TBR. We know how often I don’t follow my TBR, but here are some books on my radar that I’d love to read next month. My mood comes first though, so I’ll see where that ends up taking me. So let’s take a look at my September TBR for now.
Group Reads

Fall I Want – Lyra Parish
Starting off my favorite season with an autumn romance sounds perfect for me. Fall I Want is a book I wanted to read last year, but I never got around to it. So I’m definitely making up for it this September.
eARCs
September is a jampacked month of releases, so I actually do have quite a few September releases already on my Kindle. Here are a few I’m very excited about.

Love Felt Like This – Julie Olivia
Even though I still have to read a few books Julie Olivia already published, Love Felt Like This is another book that screams autumn to me. Look at the colors on this cover! I don’t think I’ve ever read about someone who creates children’s shows, but I’m intrigued. A grumpy rockstar MMC is something I’ve read before and definitely enjoy, haha.

How to Write a Murder – Jessica Brody
How to Write a Murder is a book that just recently popped up somewhere and it caught my attention. I’ll always read a book when our main characters are authors. Add in a writing retreat for mystery authors and a murder and I have a feeling it’s going to be quite the ride.

Kiss of the Black Flame – Helen Scheuerer
Even though I’m still catching up with Helen Scheuerer’s backlist, but Kiss of the Black Flame caught my eye. I’ll be honest though. The only two things I know is that our main character is a bookbinder and this is a romantasy.
Physical TBR/Backlist Books

A Fire in the Sky – Sophie Jordan
A Fire in the Sky is a romantasy I’ve been really curious about. I know we have dragons and that magic is dying. For a romantasy, this is less than 300 pages, so I’m curious. A lot of fantasy books are huge, so a shorter one can be refreshing.

Renegades – Marissa Meyer
Renegades is a book I should’ve read by now. This book released in November 2017 and I even went to a signing for it with Isabelle. How have I still not read this?!? Haha. I have a feeling I’m going to love this trilogy.

Immortal Longings – Chloe Gong
I’m a sucker for books with games, competitions, or trials. The synopsis starts off by saying that the capital hosts a set of games that thousands of people flock towards. And we have a royal in hiding? Immortal Longings sounds really good and after a friend of mine read and loved this trilogy earlier this month, it’s making me want to read this book ASAP.
So here’s a small September TBR. At the moment, I want to read all of these. I just can’t tell you how many will actually be read at the end of the month, haha. Have you read any of these? Or what’s on your September TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
