How is it time to talk about my August TBR?!? This year really is flying by and I feel like a broken record saying this, haha. I’m still letting myself be a mood readers, but there are some books on my radar I’d love to try and get to next month. Let’s take a look at my August reading plans.

Group Reads

Defiant – Brandon Sanderson

In my series slayers group we’ll be finishing the Skyward series this month. I can’t believe we’re already picking up the final book. Defiant isn’t a book I know much about yet, because I still need to read Cytonic. I don’t want to spoil any details before reading.

 

eARCs

I feel like I have less August eARCs, but I will say that I still need to make a complete list. Here are a couple I’m really excited about.

Devour Me – Emily Rath

I was sold when I read a dark, spicy MMF paranormal romance that takes place on a New England island. Say less! Devour Me is 500+ pages and I’m excited to sit down and devour this book.

Sinister – Veronica Lancet

I don’t know too much about Sinister and I think I want to go in this one blind. It does seem like it’s going to be pretty dark and it’s a chunky book! I’m hoping to be absorbed by this one. Hopefully I have some rainy days in August for the perfect vibes.

 

Backlist/Physical TBR

A River Enchanted – Rebecca Ross

After loving the Letters of Enchantment duology and Wild Reverence, I want to read more of Rebecca Ross’ backlist. A River Enchanted is an Illumicrate book I have on my shelves that released in 2022. I’d say it’s time for me to read this book.

Yesteryear – Caro Claire Burke 

Okay, it’s time for me to finally see what Yesteryear is all about. I keep hearing this one is a lot different than people expect and that has me very intrigued. It’s not normally my type of story, but I have a feeling this one could work for me.

Wyatt – Jessica Peterson

It’s way past time for me to sit down and continue this cowboy romance series. At the end of Cash we got the start of Wyatt’s story and it’s going to be an interesting one. The series is now complete, so I can binge the rest of the books.
