Wishlist Wednesday | Most Anticipated June 2026 Releases

The end of the month is nearing and it’s time for us to look ahead. Today we want to talk about our most anticipated June releases. It feels so weird saying that. After a jampacked May, it’s time to see how many books we’re looking forward to next month.

The Heirs – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé (June 2nd)

The first bit of the synopsis was all I needed to read; A mystery about five teen geniuses, their billionaire father, and the investigation into his murder. Five prodigies, one dead father, a mansion full of suspects… I immediately had to add this one! Pair that with Ace of Spades by this author being a masterpiece and you can imagine my high expectations for this one.

Man of My Dreams – Olivia Worley (June 2nd)

I don’t even know how to describe this one, but I do really want to read it! A romance author and her next love interest coming to life, both having secrets and this being a thriller, that kind of sums it up I think haha. I guess this is also one you want to go into not knowing too much!

Light Wielder – Rachel Schneider (June 9th)

After the ending of Metal Slinger I’ve been counting down the days until Light Wielder releases. Part of me kind of wants to do a reread. Even though I can tell you exactly how it ends, haha.

Harvest Season – Brynne Weaver (June 9th)

Brynne Weaver writes dark romances that are also romantic comedies. Tourist Season was a fun start to a new trilogy and ended in a way that has me very intrigued about Harvest Season. It’ll be interesting to see if she makes more food unappealing.

The Summer Girlfriend – Kristina Forest (June 9th)

A very cute sounding fake dating summer romance! I eat these kind of stories up and this one sounds like a lot of fun. It also looks like this will be the first book in a series, probably interconnected stories. The early reviews are quite positive!

Shadow Reaper – Lynette Noni (June 16th)

A fantasy with enemies to lovers, found family, reapers, the first in a duology, sounds good to me! I feel like this one could go either way, but I am still curious to see if this one will be as good as it could be.

The Someday Garden – Ashley Poston (June 16th)

A secret garden with a mystery man trapped inside, sounds intriguing! I really enjoyed The Seven Year Slip, so I for sure want to read this one.

Tropesick – Lauren Okie (June 16th)

There is so much going on in this synopsis, although I guess that is the point haha. Childhood neighbours come back into each other’s lives when they are both ghostwriting for a romance author. And then all the romance tropes they write are coming to life. I’m so curious to see how this will all work!

Rumors & Whiskey – Victoria Wilder (June 16th)

The Bourbon Boys was an amazing trilogy and I was honestly sad to see it end, so I was very excited to see we were getting a new series by Victoria Wilder. Instead of the Bourbon Boys, we’re getting Whiskey Women this time around.

Dearly Departed – Chip Pons (June 16th)

A Hades inspired gay rom-com, sounds cute and fun to me! A former god now working as a funeral director and a florist, sounds like a match made in heaven haha.

Night Witch – Jaymin Eve (June 23rd)

Spellcaster was a pleasant surprise when I read it at the beginning of the year. I’m a sucker for books that take place at magical schools. It’ll be interesting to see how this story continues and the duology wraps up.

Chase Me If You Can – Heather Frances (June 23rd)

Weather seems to be playing a bigger part in romances releasing this summer. Chase Me If You Can has a stunning cover and the story sounds pretty amazing as well. Our FMC is a wedding photographer that chases storms six weeks every year and it seems like she’s going to be falling in love with the storm chaser she’s traveling with. Sign me up!

Checking You Out – Jennifer Chen (June 23rd)

Checking You Out is a book that caught my eye because our two main characters fall in love through letters they leave each other in their favorite library books. In real life they don’t think they have anything in common. I love a story with letters and romances that start this way.

In Every Possible Way – Alicia Thompson (June 23rd)

In Every Possible Way has an interesting concept. Our main character is mugged and hits her head really hard. When she wakes up she’s in Ireland and doesn’t know how she got there. I’m curious to see how magical this one ends up being!

The Winged Game – Sophie Kim (June 30th)

A sports romance but make it fantasy, yes yes yes! I love a magical sport and this also has fake dating with the rival that ruined our MC’s career. How am I already in love with this book? This better be as good as it sounds!

It seems like the summer is going to be off to a good start with these June releases that sound amazing! Are any of these on your radar? Or are there any we missed you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
