It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

The Forest Grimm – Kathryn Purdie
I had a Fairyloot edition of The Forest Grimm and I’m trying to get through as many as possible this month. I loved the concept of this book and the dark forest setting. That’s where my love kind of ended though. The story felt repetitive and our FMC has some type of problem with her spine, but it’s mentioned so many times (I counted 7 times within 48 pages) and it doesn’t seem to have any consequences for her actions. I won’t be reading the second book in the duology.

Love Overboard – Kandi Steiner
So I don’t watch anything like Below Deck, but this book had me curious. I’m glad I was curious because Love Overboard is a book I devoured. Yeah, there’s a lot of drama, but it just works? I loved the little transcripts of the confessionals at the beginning of every chapter. Also, I highly recommend the audiobook. It’s duet narration and adds so much to this story.
What are you currently reading?

Death’s Daughter – S.A. Barnes
A friend and I decided to pick up Death’s Daughter for our next buddy read. We’re only two chapters in at the moment, but I’m intrigued. I will say that the Dutch the author uses is very interesting. So far I’ve found a word that would never be used the way it is in this one and a spelling error.

By the Bootstraps – Alexa Martin
I can never say no to a cowboy romance and By the Bootstraps sounded like a lot of fun. I received an eARC and at 30% I’m having a great time. Our main character just moved her life to a different state to start over after a tragic loss. There’s tension, banter, and so much more!
What do you think you’ll read next?

Rules for the Summer – Meghan Quinn
If Meghan Quinn releases a new book, I need to read it! Even though I haven’t read Just for the Cameras yet, I’m so excited about Rules for the Summer. It seems we’re getting a forced proximity romance and I know it’ll be filled with banter. I’m already excited.

Beneath – Ariel Sullivan
After loving Conform, I need to dive into the prequel series/book to this world. I’m loving dystopian books at the moment, so why not pick this one up now? It’s been calling to me since I finished Conform.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
