We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I wasn’t doing well the last couple of weeks and I had a bit of a breakdown. Fortunately I have some amazing friends, so after calling one of them I have slept over at her place a couple of days and together we took care of some of my tasks. I’m starting to feel a bit better, but I definitely  have to be mindful of myself still. My friends have been taking care of me in multiple ways, like I said I have slept over at one of my friends, but they also have been cooking for me, helping me clean, taking me to see a movie and just stuff like that. I’m incredibly grateful for them and I’m happy I have one more week off of work to hopefully get a bit more ready for the last stretch off the school year!

I’m not completely sure if I have already shared this one, but the latest eARC I got is The Heart and the Hawthorn by Laura Coleman. Can’t wait to dive into this one!

I’m finally in a reading groove again! After the reset with my friend I finished Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide a Body and then proceeded to read Heated Rivalry in literally 1 day. I jumped into the Long Game right after that and then read the whole Mindf*ck series. And then I had to go and reread Heated Rivalry haha. Now I’m reading Game Changer and I plan on reading the rest of the series after finishing that one.

Like I have said before, I have become obsessed with Heated Rivalry and have watched it 6 times now. Last week I have been stopping myself from watching it a seventh time, but I might be doing just that soon. At the moment I’m watching season 2 of Jury Duty; Company Retreat. It’s once again hilarious and the main character is such a sweet guy.

Since Noah Kahan’s album The Great Divide: The Last of the Bugs has been out, I have been listening to it non-stop. It’s so good and it has a ton of bangers! I’m really lucky and have got tickets to his concert in December, so I will be listening to these songs for the next few months haha.

I guess this Royal Update was all about my obsessions of late and I’m very much okay with that haha. What have you been obsessed with lately? I would love to hear from you down below!
