TTT #413| Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026 Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is goals for 2026. I already wrote a post about my bookish goals, so I’m going to do a part 2 of Isabelle’s post last week. So I want to tell you about some of my most anticipated books releasing in the first half of 2026. Let’s take a look!

Just for the Camera – Meghan Quinn (February 3rd)

Meghan Quinn is an auto-buy author for me, so I definitely need her newest release. Also, this has fake dating. Seeing how that’s my favorite trope, I’m sold!

Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter – Heather Fawcett (February 17th)

Heather Fawcett wrote the Emily Wilde trilogy that I really enjoyed. A cozy fantasy is something I enjoy now and then, so I had to add Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter to my my TBR. As long as nothing happens to any of the kitties, I’m sure I’ll love this story.

No Matter What – Cara Bastone (March 3rd)

I’ve read two books by Cara Bastone and both of them were five star reads for me. This author hits me in all the feels and I expect No Matter What to be no different. A young couple is trying to rebuild their marriage after a traumatic accident. I’m intrigued!

Across the Vanishing Sky – Catherine Cowles (March 3rd)

Catherine Cowles has quite the catalog of books and I’m still working on them, but Across the Vanishing Sky sounds amazing. She’s great at a small town romantic suspense and I’m excited.

Happy Ending – Chloe Liese (April 14th)

The Bergman Brothers series is still one of my favorite romance series, so I’ll read anything Chloe Liese will write. Two best friends who must fake a relationship for their exes! Fake dating you say? Yes, please! This gives me Funny Story vibes and that makes me happy.

Rites of the Starling – Devney Perry (April 7th)

Shield of Sparrow was one of my favorite romantasy books las year and I’ve been counting down the days for the sequels. While I did guess a few of the twists in the first book, I have no clue where this sequel is going to take us.

We Burned So Bright – T.J. Klune (April 28th)

I will write anything T.J. Klune writes! We Burned So Bright is going to be another very emotional one. We follow an older queer couple on an end-of-the-world road trip. I mean, that already sounds devastating. Except knowing who wrote this one, I need to read it.

Bromantasy – Máire Roche (May 26th)

How could I not want to read this book by just seeing this title? I actually don’t know too much about the plot. Only that we have a cozy fantasy! It’d be surprising if I don’t love this one.

Thornbird – E. Kennedy (June 30th)

Elle Kennedy has only written romances so far. Thornbird is her first YA thriller and I’m curious to see what she does with a different genre. A serial killer’s daughter is trying to solve the crimes of her family’s past. Hopefully this is one that has me on the edge of my seat.

The Winged Game – Sophie Kim (June 30th)

I was honestly sold when I read fantasy meets sports romance. This isn’t a combination I’ve ever read before but I think it’s something I need in my life. Magical sports seems like something we need more of.

So here are ten of my most anticipated releases! This is only a glimpse of the books I’m excited about that are releasing in the first six months of 2026! We’re at the start of another amazing bookish year. Do we have any of these in common? Or what are some of the releases you’re excited about? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
