We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
The last Royal Update of 2025! My first week of the Christmas break is over and I can’t believe how fast it all went haha. I will be flying to Austria in 2 days for a mini ski trip and after that it’s back to work. But that means I still have 2 days to relax and finally do some of my hobbies haha. Christmas was really busy, but also a lot of fun. We have laughed so much and so loud haha. I love setting a nice table and I loved seeing my family opening the gifts I got for them. And of course I was spoiled as well, I got an annual subscription to the Zoo, a Ninja Creami Deluxe, a gorgeous PJ set, a puzzle book and some more small things. We already went to the zoo and I can not wait to make my first ice cream with my Ninja Creami!!
No new eARC’s this week, I have more than enough to end the year with haha. Let’s lower than number of unread eARC’s in 2026!
I haven’t finished any book… At the moment I’m reading 3 books and I don’t think I will finish any before the end of the year…. I’m still reading Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven, but I also started The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson after seeing it getting a lot of love on bookstagram. And after talking to my uncle during Christmas dinner, I also started The Housemaid by Freida McFadden haha. I wasn’t planning on reading that book, but he sold me on it so I had to try haha.
I have watched the End of an Era documentary and of course the Final Show haha. A lot of tears have been shed… I also watched the second season of Percy Jackson (so far). And I went to the cinema and watched Wicked for Good. Really enjoyed it, although I like the first one better.

Since watching Wicked for Good I have been listening to the soundtrack non stop haha. I just love singing along to musical songs and these are very addictive!
