It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

Rivals – Katharine McGee

Late last year I started the American Royals series. I had a great time with the first two books, so I asked for the final two for Christmas. It took me almost a year, but I finally read Rivals (the third book). The story was definitely filled with drama, but the characters pulled me back into the story. After that ending, I’ll definitely read the final book in the series very soon.

The Rose Bargain – Sasha Peyton Smith

The Rose Bargain was a Fairyloot book from earlier this year and it kept catching my eye, so I picked it up. Stories with fae are always interesting and I loved the idea of a competition to marry a fae prince. The ending was surprising in a pleasant way. The sequel to this one will definitely be added to my TBR.

What are you currently reading?

Daydream – Hannah Grace

After enjoying the first two books in the Maple Hills series, I needed to add the third and final book to my TBR. Daydream has been on my shelves for way too long and it’s been staring at me. When I started reading this, I was mad at myself for waiting so long. So far it’s definitely going in the books as my favorite of the series. I have about 150 pages left to go.

Alchemised – SenLinYu

A friend and I have been buddyreading Alchemised for quite some time now. We only read 2-3 chapters a day. At the moment we’re almost 800 pages into this story and I’ll be honest, it’s hard to put this book down after a few chapters. I’m definitely invested in this story and I really have no clue how this is going to end.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Holly – Adalyn Grace

We’re finishing up the Belladonna series with my series slayers group. While I wasn’t a big fan of the third book, I do want to see how this wraps up the story. I also can’t resist a holiday story.

Your Knife, My Heart – K.M. Moronova

This author’s books have been around everywhere since Leave Me Behind was traditionally published. My Discord book club is reading this one as a weekly read. I have a pretty paperback and an eARC, so I really need to sit down with this dark romance. I’m really hoping I love it.
