As I reader I’m kind of all over the place, haha. I tend to read multiple books at once and sometimes I forget to finish a book. Even when I’m enjoying it. According to my Bookmory app, I’m currently reading 38 books. I can tell you I’m not actively reading 38 books at once.
So today I want to talk about a few of the books I started, was loving, and then kind of forgot about. Let’s take a look!

The Fake Out – Stephanie Archer (214/436)
Wow. I was actually just about halfway through this one and just stopped, haha. In all honesty, it’s been quite a long time. I may need to start this one all over again. The Fake Out has fake dating and that’s one of my favorite tropes. I need to now how Hazel and Rory’s story wraps up.

So This Is War – Meghan Quinn (164/498)
Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and this coach’s daughter hockey romance is so good! She really knows how to give us banter, humor, steam, and hit us in all the feels. This is Levi and Wylie’s romance.I know I was loving this, but wanted to get the audiobook to listen along with. Of course, I ended up distracted, haha.

The Marriage Hex – Sarah Blue (186/305)
So I actually just read The Fang Arrangement by Sarah Blue and had the greatest time. The Marriage Hex is the first book in the series. I was having a great time with this werewolf/witch romance with a curse. Loving The Fang Arrangement has me really excited to finish this one.

A Thorn in Every Heart – Kate King (198/517)
A Thorn in Every Heart is Beauty and the Beast meets Anastasia. This is basically a fairytale mashup and I was having a great time. Our main character’s grandmother broke her promise to marry a fae king and they’ve come to make her do good on her promise. They just don’t realize that she isn’t her grandmother.
So here are 4 books I need to sit down and finish soon! It’s my goal to have my currently reading shelf a lot smaller before the end of 2025! Do you read multiple books at once? Or do you ever just forget you were reading a book? Even though you’re loving it? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
