So after seeing this done on YouTube and some people doing this one bookstagram, I decided to give it a go. I asked a few of my bookish friends who tend to love the same kind of books I do to give me three books they think I need to read. These are some books I want to read before the end of the year and here is my reading recommendations TBR part 1. I’ll be adding to this over the next couple of weeks. Let’s take a look!

June First – Jennifer Hartmann
I’ve read a couple of books by Jennifer Hartmann and know that they’re very emotional. That being said, I still tend to love her books. June First isn’t one I’m familiar with. All I seem to find is that we’re getting a forbidden romance? I don’t mind going into a book pretty blind.

Fairydale – Veronica Lancet
Fairydale was an indie book, but was recently published by Atria. I have heard you either love this one or hate it, but it sounds pretty unique. I feel like this is a perfect read for this time of year. Especially if I start this one on a rainy day.

Audacity – Elodie Hart
I recently read my first book by Elodie Hart and thought it was pretty entertaining. The friend who recommended this one to me said it was the spiciest book they’ve read in quite some time. This is a billionaire, age gap, and workplace romance. This sounds interesting!

Well, Actually – Mazey Eddings
Late Bloomer is a book I enjoyed last year, so I can say that Well, Actually was on my radar. I will say I know nothing about it though, haha. Like I already said, I enjoy going in my books blind.

Before I Tell You – Ashley Elizabeth
Another one I’ve never heard of, so I did look at the synopsis for this one. I can’t tell you what it’s about, because the synopsis basically gives us nothing. I think this is a college romance?

Skeletons of Society – Marie Miravella
A mafia romance? I’ll give that a go. I’ve never heard of this author, but I love discovering more authors I enjoy. Even if that isn’t good for my TBR, haha. So I’m excited to see if I end up enjoying this one.
So here are the first six recommendations I received. A couple of these were actually already on my TBR, so that’s exciting! Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
