It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Face Off – Chelsea Curto
I’ve been in the mood for sports romances and Face Off is a hockey romance I kept seeing everywhere. After reading this book, I know why! Maverick and Emmy’s banter is off the charts and I couldn’t put this down. On top of a spicy romance, they really connect. There was more than just a romance and add a great cast of side characters and it was a five star read.

Pride and Premeditation – Tirzah Price
Even though I’m not a classics reader, Pride and Premeditation has been on my radar for a while. I enjoyed Lizzie as a character, because it’s great to see a character way ahead of her time. And I’ll say I kept guessing, but didn’t expect the twist the way it played out. I’ll definitely be reading the other two books in this trilogy.
What are you currently reading?

Rose in Chains – Julie Soto
This is a book I’ve been curious about since I saw it was being released. A friend and I are doing a buddy read. We’re almost a 100 pages in and I’m very intrigued. I will say this book is dark! I’m curious to see where it goes from here.

The Listeners – Maggie Stiefvater
I’m reading this for a group chat next week and it’s a book I can’t put down. I read the first 50% in one sitting. Even though I’m not completely sure where this story is going, the writing is beautiful. I’m very invested in this one!
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Thursday Murder Club – Richard Osman
When I saw the trailer for the adaption of this book, it got me even more excited to read the book. Seeing it at my local bookstore made it feel like it was meant to be. I want to say the show is available now or almost? All I know is I need to read about this group of characters before I watch the first episode.

Power Play – Chelsea Curto
I was going to wait to read this one until my time off in September, but I just can’t wait. Piper and Liam are two characters we met in Face Off, and I’m excited to see how they get their happily ever after. I have a feeling I’m going to be binging this series.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.

Good looking books.
I love The Thursday Murder Club and I am very excited for the Netflix adaptation. I have the next book on Pre- Order…
Have a great week!
