We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books with a High Page Count. Isabelle wasn’t feeling last week’s topic, so she decided to do this one before. You can see here post here. Today I want to talk about ten books with a high page count that I still need to read. Let’s take a look!
Besides books already on my shelves, I’ll also be talking about a few eARCs I have with a high page count!

Babel – R.F. Kuang (544 pages)
After loving The Poppy War series, I decided I need to read everything written by R.F. Kuang. Babel is actually a book I started the year it released for a buddy read. My buddy wasn’t feeling the book and I kind of just left it at that. Even though I was enjoying the book. So I do want to pick this one up again. Maybe I’ll read along with the audiobook this time around.

House of Flame and Shadow – Sarah J Maas (838 pages)
House of Flame and Shadow has been on my shelves since release day in 2024. I even read the first 50 pages. I don’t know why I never continued, because I loved and devoured the first two books. It could be the hype and the story being around everywhere. That tends to push me away from reading something. I’m not sure if there will be another book in this series, but I do want to continue and finish this one before the end of the year.

A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J Maas (757 pages)
I guess it’s the same story as with House of Flame and Shadow. This book was very hyped and I even read the first 100 or so pages. I’m just a reader that gets distracted. I know the author did finish writing the next book in this series, but no one knows when it’ll be released. A Court of Silver Flames was a book I was enjoying, so I need to jump back in.

Addicted for Now – Krista Ritchie & Becca Ritchie (560 pages)
The first two books in this series pulled me in more than I was expecting, but I couldn’t put it down. Lily and Loren both have their issues and as best friends always try and have each other’s backs. When things become more than that, their problems become even more of an issue. Can they be together? I’m interested to see how their story ends in this final book just about them.

The Way I Hate Him – Meghan Quinn (526 pages)
Meghan Quinn is an author that doesn’t write small books, but it never feels like they’re as big as they are. She gives us funny moments, but also knows how to makes things hit you in all the feels. I’ve heard The Way I Hate Him is one of the books that leaves readers in tears, but I’m still very excited to pick this one up.

Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark – Jessa Hastings (720 pages)
I will be honest and say this series is basically like a train wreck. You just can’t stop reading. It’s all drama, and I can’t say I like any of the characters, haha. Except after reading four books I’m just so invested. Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark is Magnolia & BJ’s final story and the last book currently published in this series. After the ending of the last Magnolia Parks book, I really have no idea where this one will go.

Charm – Tracy Wolff (592 pages)
The Crave series was really popular when it first released and I have to say I devoured these books. I only have two books to go and really want to see how this series ends. I’m just really bad at completing series. The fact that we have a spinoff series does have me a bit more motivated to get to this really soon.

The Survivor Wants to Die at the End – Adam Silvera (720 pages)
They Both Die at the End was a book that really surprised me when it released. I mean, the title says it all, but the fact that this book still had me in tears was quite impressive. The books takes place in less than 24 hours and I never expected to become so attached to the characters. I love that the author is giving us more in this world. So far The Survivor Wants to Die at the End seems to get mixed reviews. I’m curious to see what I think.

Wild Reverence – Rebecca Ross (544 pages)
The Divine Rivals world is one I fell in love with and I’m so glad Rebecca Ross is giving us a prequel story in this fantastical world. I have an eARC of this one, but I also ordered the stunning Fairyloot edition of this book. I’m so excited to see where this story takes us.

Fairydale – Veronica Lancet (736 pages)
Fairydale was a self-published story, but it’s been picked up by Atria Books. I have an eARC of this gothic, historical romance. I believe it also has some fantasy and paranormal elements. I’m very intrigued! It seems that you either love this one or don’t. I hope I’m a reader who loves it.
So here are ten bigger books that I still need to read. Have you read any of these? Or what are some bigger books you need to read? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!

I didn’t realize that Adam Silvera novel is so long. Most YA novels hold to the 300 page limit.
You can’t go wrong with House of Flame and Shadow – Sarah J Maas or any of her books. My daughter (YA) adored them all.
A great list. Happy reading.
I had to return Babel to the library before I finished it, but someday I will request it again.
I admire an author who can make a book last 720 pages with the story lasting just 24 hours – looking at The Survivor Wants to Die at the End, here. I might need to try that one.

I love that cover to the Rebecca Ross book. Beautiful!
What a great list! I’ve also been meaning to read Babel after hearing so many good things about it. I completely understand getting distracted by the hype around a book. Thanks for sharing!
I still need to read Babel, too.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I still have a few chunksters I’m hoping to read before the year ends. We’ll see how it goes! I hope you enjoy all these when you get to them.
Happy TTT!
