Royal Update #287

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I have to say that my weeks haven’t been all too exciting, haha. Mostly just working and relaxing in the evening. We did visit friends and had fun playing games. Last weekend was supposed to be game night here, but ended up being canceled. So we played Hitster on our own. It was still fun! Also, a relaxing weekend was nice after pulling a muscle in my neck and my hand issues acting up.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added more eARCs to my Kindle, haha. I added: Well Actually (ALC), Freeing the Wild, Saving the Rain, Here Lie All the Boys Who Broke My Heart, Playing for Keeps, Is This a Cry for Help?, Your Knife My Heart, and The Book Tour.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading: Camp Damascus, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, Nightshade, Roll for Romance, If We Were a Movie, Red Card, Holding the Reins, The Lovers, Dream On, Back After This, One Golden Summer, Atmosphere, This Ravenous Fate, and Maid for Each Other.

I’m currently reading: The Knight and the Moth, The Brave and the Reckless, and Arcana Academy.

Next I’m hoping to read: The Blade Itself, Rivals, Silvercloak, and Warrior Princess Assassin.

Last week my mother and I finished watching the final episodes of ER. It’s kind of bittersweet. We started watching in January and we’ve become attached to the characters, haha.

It was also my turn to choose our movie for our weekly movie night on Sunday. I decided to watch The Amateur. Action movies normally aren’t my favorites, but this one was really good.

I’ve actually barely been listening to music lately. My commute is a lot shorter and that’s when I spent my time listening to audiobooks or music. The most music I’ve listened to is when we played Hitster, haha. There was a song by Girls Aloud that I totally forgot about and has me wanting to listen to that album again.

So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything amazing? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
