It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Red Card – Maren Moore
I had an eARC of Red Card and I had a really good time. It’s been quite some time since I read a sports romance (at least it feels that way) and Cillian and Rory were a great couple to dive back in with. Rory was awkward and relatable for a lot of us, I think. Cillian dealt with so many things and is trying to make a new start. We got a lot of banter, swoonworthy moments, and character development. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Holding the Reins – Paisley Hope
After Chestnut Springs, I’ve been wanting to read more cowboy romances. Holding the Reins is the first book in a new to me series and I had so much fun. CeCe and Nash just work so well together and I loved when they finally let go and admitted there was something between them. Their stories were so interesting and Nash is a character I just wanted to give a hug most of the book. He lost so much.
What are you currently reading?

Dream On – Jennifer Hartmann
When I see the name Jennifer Hartmann, I know the book is going to hit me in all the feels. Lex and Stevie have a special connection when they’re young and so much happens. So when the book takes a bit of a time jump, it’s heartbreaking to see how things have developed. I’m almost done with my eARC at the moment and I don’t know how things will play out. That being said, I’m not sure why this is marketed as Teens & YA. I do feel like this is more high YA/new adult.

The Knight and the Moth – Rachel Gillig
I loved The Shepherd King duology by this author, so I was so excited when The Knight and the Moth was announced. A friend and I decided to buddy read this one. We’re only three chapters in and kind of get dropped in the story, so I’m not sure what to think yet. I’m excited to continue.
What do you think you’ll read next?

One Golden Summer – Carley Fortune
Even though I will read any book whenever I feel like, I do love reading summer books when it’s still summer. So One Golden Summer has been one that’s been starting at me. I never expected we would get a story for Charlie, so I’m excited to give this one a go.

The Thursday Murder Club – Richard Osman
The Thursday Murder Club is a book I’ve been wanting to read for quite some time. An adaptation is coming to Netflix this month and I’m determined to read before I watch. A few of my friends love this series and I hope I will love it as well.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
