We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

As I said in my last Royal Update, I was switching work locations to make my commute a lot short. Let’s just say it’s been an adventure so far. It was a brand new location, so everything had to be built from scratch. I worked five days in a row and let’s just say all I did after work last week was curl up and watch things, haha. I barely read anything at all. This week, things should be a little more normal.

I’ve always decided to start slowly cleaning out my bookshelves. I want only 4 and 5 star reads on my shelves. This will save space and give me a library full of books I love. The boyfriend and I made a Vinted account. It’s been going pretty well so far!

I’ve added three eARCs to my Kindle since my last Royal Update and I’m excited about all three of these: Dream On, Little Pieces of Light, and Holiday Ever After.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Bloodguard, This Far, Sleep Like Death, Hotel Magnifique, Alone with You in the Ether, Anywhere You Go, The Last Encore, The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain, Love on Paper, Write Me For You, Off the Hook, and The Blood Traitor.

I’m currently reading: Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, Roll for Romance, The Brave and the Reckless, and Camp Damascus.

Next I hope to read: The Knight and the Moth, Nightshade, Warrior Princess Assassin, and Somewhere Beyond the Sea.

I’ve mostly been watching bookish YouTube videos a lot this past week because I’ve been exhausted after work, haha. We did finish the last episode of Night Court. It was clear they didn’t know the show was getting canceled because that ending was awful and such a cliffhanger!

I actually haven’t been listening to a lot of music recently. My commute has become a lot shorter and I listen to the audiobooks during the time I do have. When I do listen when under the shower, it’s been to this 2000s mix.
