It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Broken by Daylight – Elizabeth Helen
I binged Broken by Daylight over the weekend. This is the final book out in the world in the Beasts of the Briar series until next year. I understand why some people see this as more of a filler book, but I had a great time. We get to know more about the characters and the world. I’m really curious to see what happens to Rosie and her princes in the next book.

Vows & Ruins – Helen Scheuerer
So I actually started this book back in February and I was loving it! Until I got distracted by other books and that kept happening, haha. I’m glad I finally sat down and read the rest of it though. I had such a good time! I’m loving the world, characters, relationships, and the politics. I need to pick up the third book really soon.
What are you currently reading?

A Lesson in Vengeance – Victoria Lee
A Lesson in Vengeance has been on my shelves for a few years and for some reason this one popped in my head to read. I do feel like this would be a perfect spooky season read. At the moment I’ve read almost half of this book. So far so good. I’m loving the vibes of this dark academia thriller. Part of me is wondering if our main character is an unreliable narrator.

Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab
V.E. Schwab is one of my favorite authors, so of course I couldn’t wait long to pick up Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. I’m buddy reading this with a friend and we’re a little over 100 pages into this amazing story. This is reminding me why I love Schwab’s writing so much.
What do you think you’ll read next?

Hotel Magnifique – Emily J. Taylor
I’m really trying to focus on some of my backlist books and this is another title that has been calling to me. A few of my friends loved this one, so I finally want to sit down and read this. The concept of having a hotel be in a different location every morning sounds like a lot of fun.

Bloodguard – Cecy Robson
I have to be honest and say that Bloodguard was definitely a cover buy for me, haha. Gladiator stories aren’t something I’ve read a lot of, but they always sound good to me. Bloodguard has some mixed reviews, so I’m a little afraid to read this, but I’m curious enough to make my own opinion.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
