TTT #396 | Books I’d Like to Reread Part 2

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books with Honorifics in the Title, but I hardly have any books like that. So I decided to do a second part to Candyce’s topic from last week; Books I’d Like to Reread. In the last couple of years I have been rereading a lot more and I am loving it! So I would love to take a look at some more books I want to reread. Let’s dive in!

1. Sunrise on the Reaping – Suzanne Collins

A very recent read, but one I already want to reread. I especially want to reread this one before the movie releases next year. That way I can compare the two even better. I really like the way they translated the other books to the big screen, so I’m super excited for this movie.

2. The Fragile Threads of Power – V.E. Schwab

As soon as we know more about the release of book 2 in this series (there hasn’t been anything yet haha) I will know when to reread this when. I’m assuming it might take a couple of years and by then I would love to remember all the details from this first book.

3. Project Hail Mary – Andy Weir

After watching the trailer for the upcoming movie I realised I forgot so many important things about this book! So I would love to reread this one before watching the movie.

4. A Master of Djinn – P. Djèlí Clark

I love this world so much! And I would love to reread all the short stories and novella’s as well. I listened to the audiobook for this one and I think I might like to read it as a physical book as well. This was an incredible story in such a cool world and I can’t wait to experience it all again.

5. Haikyu – Haruichi Furudate

This is my favorite manga series ever and as soon as I finished it I said I wanted to reread it. It’s a pretty big comitment with 45 volumes (although it could be a lot worse considering some other manga series), so I’m not sure when I’ll start this reread.

6. Foul is Fair – Hannah Capin

I really loved this book, but I hardly ever hear any one talk about it. After looking through my books I was just really curious to see if I still loved this one as much if I would reread it now.

7. Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

This series was such a cool experience! I haven’t read anything like it and even though these are really big books you fly through them. Since I’m rereading so much, I would love to dive back into these and appreciate their beauty once again.

8. The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I have reread a lot of Jennifer Lynn Barnes books recently, but I haven’t done this series yet. As a Criminal Minds fan I really loved these when I first read them. It’s always a bit of a risk with rereading, will I still love them as much as the first time around?

9. Dangerous Girls – Abigail Haas

More so than rereading this one, I would love to experience it for the first time again. I really loved this one and I have been craving books just like it ever since. Throughout the whole book I never knew for sure what happened and if our MC was guilty, I loved that feeling and the pay-off was wonderful.

10. Grave Mercy – Robin LaFevers

I still need to read the third book in this series, but I think it’s been at least 10 years since I read this one and now I remember basically nothing haha. So I would love to reread the first two books so I can finally dive into the final book and start the next series in this world.

These are the 10 books (or series) I would love to reread. I am rereading a lot these last couple of years, so I have good hopes of actually rereading these soonish! Do you understand why I want to reread these? Do you reread books? And which books do you then choose to reread? Let me know down below!

  1. I can’t wait for the Project Hail Mary film. Maybe I should reread that book between now and then.
