We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

A week ago my bestie took me to Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival! Despite the rain, we had an amazing time. We saw some great artist, there were amazing stalls with some really cool vintage stuff and there was just a really nice vibe going on. Even though I was super tired, I had a great time. Unfortunately, the tiredness persisted and I ended last week with being sick. My teacher bestie is free on Friday’s and another of my coworkers actually called her during the day to come and pick me up haha. I spend the rest of the day on her couch and the rest of the weekend in my bed and on my couch. Hopefully I will be okay the rest of the week, because I have to work for just 4 more days and then I have 5 weeks of summer vacation!

I have one new really exciting eARC; Coldwire by Chloe Gong. While I am a bit ashamed I have to admit I still haven’t read a Chloe Gong book before, I hope to do so very soon now.

I have only finished Silvercloak since my last Royal Update, but I did really enjoy it. Currently I’m reading Automatic Noodle and I’m listening to Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. Two very exciting reads, so I’m hoping to finish them this week. I don’t know what I’ll pick up afterwards just yet.

I finished The Blacklist, watched Senna and Kpop Demon Hunters. Kpop Demon Hunters was a movie I never expected to love as much as I did (definitely shed a tear or two…), but wow was that amazing!

After watching and loving Kpop Demon Hunters I obviously had to listen to the soundtrack over and over again. Those songs are amazing!!
