We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I’ve had two pretty quiet weeks. The boyfriend’s parents visited us to see our new furniture. Last weekend, we had our monthly game night. We tried out a new board game and it was a lot of fun. The weather is getting warmer here and it’s not my favorite time of year, haha. I’ll be sitting inside in front of my fan staying cool.

Since my last Royal Update I added three new eARCs to my list: Definitely Maybe Not a Detective, The Goldens (ALC), and The Underachiever’s Guide to Love and Saving the World.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve read: Till Summer Do Us Part, Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing, Kiss Me at Christmas, Bourbon & Proof, Caught Up, Woven by Gold, Drunk on Love, The Darkness Within Us, Built to Last, The Bones Beneath My Skin, and Knives, Seasoning, & A Dash of Love.

I’m currently reading: Forged by Malice, Chasing Riddick, and Marlowe Banks, Redesigned.

Next I’ll be reading: The Gilded Cage, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Swept Away, and The Black Witch.

I read the first Murderbot book a while ago, but it was so much fun. So of course, I had to watch the adaptation. They boyfriend and I have been watching the episode every week and we’re having a great time.

I’ve been listening to audiobooks a lot recently, but I did listen to Alex Warren’s album. Ordinary has been a song stuck in my head, so it was time to listen to the rest.
