It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?
It’s a Love Story – Annabel Monaghan
It’s a Love Story was an anticipated release of mine and it met all of my expectations and them some. Dan and Jane’s story was so heartwarming, funny, and it hit in all the feels. Dan’s family made a great set of side characters and I couldn’t put this one down.
Throttled – Lauren Asher
Throttled was my first F1 romance and even though I don’t watch it, I did enjoy myself. This brother’s teammate/rival romance was interesting. I enjoyed we got some of the races and it had some excitement in it. There were definitely more emotional subjects in this book than I expected. I’ll definitely read the rest of the series.
What are you currently reading?
Kiss Me at Christmas – Jenny Bayliss
This is the first time in ages that I’m barely reading anything. I had my first exam in nine years today, so I turned to my favorite kind of comfort books: Christmas romances. Jenny Bayliss has written a few that I really enjoyed, and so far Kiss Me at Christmas is good so far. Harriet is trying to figure out how to deal with Christmas seeing how her daughter isn’t home for the holiday for the first time.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Till Summer Do Us Part – Meghan Quinn
Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and Till Summer Do Us Part is her newest release. This is a marriage of convenience romance and I love them! I have a feeling this will be another five star read.
The Ex Vows – Jessica Joyce
You, with a View was Jessica’s debut romance and it was so good! The Ex Vows is her second book, and it released last year. I still haven’t gotten around to this one, but I know as soon as I do, I’ll love it!
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
A good selection of books there. I want to read a Meghan Quinn book. I have got a couple of Christmas books on my TBR shelves that I want to read this year. We shall see!
I hope that the exam went well. Have a great week!
