Another month is almost over, and that means that we’re heading into a new month of releases. Normally June and July are a little slower with books, but it seems like that’s not the case this year. Let’s take a look at our most anticipated June releases!

Atmosphere – Taylor Jenkins Reid (June 3rd)
I’m so excited for this one! The 1980s space shuttle program sounds like such a cool setting. And it’s Taylor Jenkins Reid so you know there will be a heartbreaking twist somewhere in the story. The early reviews are really positive, so I have high hopes!

Nobody in Particular – Sophie Gonzales (June 3rd)
I totally missed that this book was coming, but now I’m really excited about it! Sophie Gonzales is one of my favorite YA writers, her contemporary novels are so so cute and I love the characters. This one is set at an all girls boarding school and one of the main characters is a princess. Sign me up!

Lady’s Knight – Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner (June 3rd)
Historical fiction isn’t a genre I read that often, but Lady’s Knight caught my eye because it’s described as A Knight’s Tale meets the Lady Jane series. I love a little bit of humor in my historical fiction and the Lady Jane series is one of my favorites, so I’m excited to se where Lady’s Knight takes me.

The Listeners – Maggie Stiefvater (June 3rd)
I really loved Maggie Stiefvater’s Raven Boys, so I’m always looking at her new stuff. This is set in World War II and I used to read so many books in that setting, it’s been a while now but I’m curious to read this one for sure.

Battle of the Bookstores – Ali Brady (June 3rd)
I’m loving all of the romances we’re getting that include bookstores in some way. Both of our main characters manage bookstores on the same street. Things get interesting when the owner wants to merge them and they have to compete to still be a manager at the end of the summer. I love that these two are rivals but end up talking online without realizing it. I just know this is going to be good!

Till Summer Do Us Part – Meghan Quinn (June 3rd)
If Meghan Quinn writes it, I’ll read it! Till Summer Do Us Part has a fake marriage, brother’s best friend, just one bed, and an adult summer camp. This really sounds like the perfect summer read to me.

The Next Chapter – Camille Kellogg (June 10th)
The Next Chapter has fake dating and a bookstore. I really don’t need to know anything else about this romance to want to pick it up! We all know someone catches feelings with fake dating, so I know this is going to get interesting.

Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil – V.E. Schwab (June 10th)
One of my most anticipated releases of the year and it’s almost here! I love V.E. Schwab and her writing and I’m so excited for this one. There are 3 timelines and it’s about lesbian vampires and I just cannot wait to get my hands on this one. I have heard great things already!

Caught Up – Navessa Allen (June 10th)
Lights Out was quite an interesting story, but I ended up loving it! Dark romantic comedies just seem to work for me, haha. I have a feeling this is going to be just as messed up, but I’m here for it!

Metal Slinger – Rachel Schneider (June 17th)
Metal Slinger is a book I actually read last year and loved! This was indie published, but then it was picked up by Tor. I really suggest picking this one up!! I’ll be reading it again, because I think there are a couple of bonus scenes. I hope we don’t have to wait forever for the sequel.

Sounds Like Love – Ashley Poston (June 17th)
A hitmaking songwriter and a bitter musician who both half part of a song stuck in their head that they have to finish together. It sounds like a really interesting premise! I liked The Seven Year Slip and I’m excited to dive into this one.
So here are some of the book we’re really excited about that are releasing in June! Do we have any in common? Or are there books you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
