We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books with Springy Covers. I love a pretty cover so I’m sure I can come up with some springy covers. Let’s jump in!
1. Forest of a Thousand Lanterns- Julie C. Dao
It’s mostly the flower. Although I think that green color is also pretty springy!
2. Save the Date – Morgan Matson
This is a late spring cover, it’s getting really close to summer. But since I like a spring wedding I think it still fits.
3. Ship It – Britta Lundin
I love that pink color! But also the outfits of the girls gave me spring vibes.
4. The Invasion of the Tearling – Erika Johansen
For this one it was mostly the background color, because that royal blue makes me doubt my choice to be honest.
5. Rebel Belle – Rachel Hawkins
That soft orange-pink (probably coral), but also that bow screams spring to me.
6. The Mysterious Benedict Society – Trenton Lee Stewart
That soft yellow color convinced me to pick this one right away.
7. Lud-in-the-Mist – Hope Mirrlees
The colors, the apple, but mostly the rainbow.
8. The Good Girls – Claire Eliza Bartlett
The beige, the hot pink and the girls in skirts!
9. This Is How You Lose the Time War – Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone
The colorscheme, but mostly the birds haha.
10. 10 Bind Dates – Ashley Elston
The colors, although the balloons made me doubt this pick for a bit. A title with blind dates in it helped because those feel spring to me.
This was so much harder than I thought it would be! Apparently I’m quite picky and I didn’t get a spring vibe from most of the books I own haha. But I managed to pick 10! Do you agree that these have spring vibes? Let me know down below!
The Good Girls sounds interesting!
I love the cover for Rebel Belle!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
A great collection.
