We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

These last two weeks haven’t been too exciting. It was mostly getting back into the swing of things at work. The first weekend after that I spent a relaxing weekend at home. Last weekend we visited the boyfriend’s family because it was his grandfather’s birthday. After that we all went out to dinner together.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added six eARCs to my Kindle: Riding the High, Full Bloom, The Second Chance Cinema, Witch You Would, Only Between Us, and Warrior Princess Assassin.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve read: The Charlie Method, Rachel Weiss’s Group Chat, By the Book, Love Scenes, Blind Pass, Forever Interrupted, Wicked Beauty, Eternal Reign, Ruthless Empire, Boys I Know, Royal Elite Epilogue, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Vol.5, Reign of a King, Artifacts of an Ex, Evidence of the Affair, The Fall Risk, Murder in the Dressing Room, Rise of a Queen, Scythe & Sparrow, and Beg, Borrow, or Steal.

I’m currently reading: Until Next Summer, Immortal Prince, and One on One.

Since last time I watched two movies I really enjoyed during our weekly movie nights. We watched One True Loves. That’s an adaptation of One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I thought it was done well! Then we also watched Girl Haunts Boy. I really enjoyed this one!

I’ve been loving the daylists that Spotify has been making for me lately. My recent favorite is one they called Nostalgia Love Song Saturday.
