We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Last week I participated in the Dutch Championships for speed puzzling, just like last year! It was so much fun and my team definitely improved compared to last year. We were 10 minutes faster and that with a difficult puzzle. I loved doing it and we’ve already planned our next practice sessions to get an even better result next year.

I didn’t get any new eARC’s this time around!

I finished The Reckoning and Jade City. After those I did a quick reread of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame to be ready for the release of Onyx Storm. And last night I finished Onyx Storm! At the moment I’m reading Dark Fae and I’m debating what my next audiobook will be. I also want to continue with Finlay Donovan is Killing It and I would like to start The Apprentice to the Villain.

I’m currently watching the second season of The Night Agent and XO, Kitty. Two very different shows but I am loving both of them! I expect to finish both of them this week, after a couple of binge sessions haha.

I have mostly been listening to podcasts lately. One of my current favorites is Gilmore to Say, it’s a podcast all about Gilmore Girls. I love Gilmore Girls so much and these girls have some amazing insights, I love listening to them!
