Royal Update #259

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Things haven’t been very exciting here recently. Work, home, and repeat, haha. It’s been nice not being really busy. The weather is cold and gray, so curled up with a blanket is my favorite place to be at the moment. Last weekend we did have game night with friends. I went for the afternoon and after dinner I headed back home. It was nice seeing everyone though.

Since my last Royal Update, I’ve added three new eARCs to my Kindle: Arcana Academy, All the Men I’ve Loved Again, and Every Borrowed Beat.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading: Only and Forever, Beautiful Ugly, Mr. Broody, The Brawl, Brewed with Love, The Brood, Not in Love, Faith: Taking Flight, All the Missing Pieces, After Life, A Serial Killer’s Guide to Marriage, Playing Flirty, and The Teller of Small Fortunes.

I’m currently reading: The Bright Sword, As Good As Dead, Fight, and The Art of Catching Feelings.

Next I plan on reading: An Ember in the Ashes, Onyx Storm, and Cursed Fates.

It’s actually been a busy time for me with watching things, haha. On a recent movie night we watched We Live in Time. It was an emotional movie, but I really liked it.

As for TV shows I started watching The Pitt, On Call, and ER. I used to watch ER with my grandmother when I was younger, but I’ve never seen all of the episodes. All of the seasons are on HBO Max now, so I decided to start from the beginning.

Recently I’ve been trying to listen to artists and albums I haven’t listened to in quite some time. Olly Murs is one my boyfriend introduced me to a few years ago, and he has a new album. So that’s been on my Spotify.

So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything amazing? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
