TTT #375| The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection. Seeing how we do bookhauls every month, I won’t be talking about the physical books I’ve added to my shelves. I’ll talk about the ten most recent eARCs I added to my Kindle. Let’s take a look!

Every Borrowed Heart – Erin Stewart

Sydney never expected to live and get the heart transplant that she needed. Now that she actually will live, she’s not really sure what to do with her life. So she looks for her donor’s family and may seem to be falling for that girl’s best friend. I have a feeling Every Borrowed Heart is going to be very emotional.

All the Men I’ve Loved Again – Christine Pride

So I’m normally not a fan of love triangles, but the synopsis really caught my attention. In All the Men I’ve Loved Again our main character seems to have to choose between the same men again twenty years after the first time. I really have no clue how this will play out.

Arcana Academy – Elise Kova

All I know about this book and really need to know, is that our main character can wield magic tarot cards, there’s a false engagement with a headmaster, and a mysterious academy. Arcana Academy has all of the elements I want in a new romantasy book.

This Book Will Bury Me – Ashley Winstead

This year I really want to read more thrillers and This Book Will Bury Me caught my eye. It seems our main character decides to try and solve the case 0f the deaths of three college girls. Amateur sleuths and true crime seem to be big themes in this book. I also didn’t realize it was almost 500 pages when I requested it, haha.

The Baby Dragon Cafe – A.T. Qureshi

How can I say no to a book with cozy vibes and baby dragons? Add in a possible romance and I am sold. The Baby Dragon Cafe seems like the perfect book to curl up with and have a cozy evening.

Murder by Cheesecake – Rachel Ekstrom Courage

I don’t read enough cozy mysteries and Murder by Cheesecake is one I had to add to my list. My mother and grandmother used to watch the Golden Girls show and I watched an occasional episode when I was younger. I think it’s such a fun idea that they’re the main characters of this story.

My Friends – Fredrik Backman

I’ve only read Beartown by Fredrik Backman so far, but I loved that book! I’m determined to read more by him this year by finishing that trilogy and reading his other work. My Friends is his 2025 release and all I know is that friendship plays a big part in this book. I know I’ll probably need tissues.

Kill Creatures – Rory Power

Kill Creatures is recommended for fans of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Gone Girl. I’m actually currently reading the final book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and loving it. I love thrillers with secrets and betrayal. I have a feeling this will one will keep me at the edge of my seat.

It’s a Love Story – Annabel Monaghan

Summer Romance was one of my favorites read last year, so I needed to get my hands on Annabel Monaghan’s 2025 release. Our main character doesn’t believe in love, but we know that this is going to change!

Amelia, if Only – Becky Albertalli

Becky Albertalli is an author I’ve enjoyed books from since Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda. Amelia seems to be a bit infatuated with a YouTube star. Except maybe that isn’t who she loves at all? I’m excited to read this one.

So here are the most recent eARCs I added to my Kindle! Are you excited for any of these? Or what are some of the new books on your radar? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
