We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

We’re getting closer to Christmas, so work has been pretty busy. Other than that I had book club. We met a bit earlier because our normal meeting would be right after Christmas. I also went to go see the Saturday Night Fever musical with my mother. After that we went out to dinner and it was a great day!

Since my last Royal Update I added a few eARCs to my new Kindle: The Unmapping, Of Monsters and Mainframes, Beautiful Ugly, and A Killing Cold.

Since my last Royal Update I read: Merry Ever After, Claus and Effect, He Sees You When You’re Sleeping, Dating and Dragons, The Colour of Magic, A Five-Letter Word for Love, Reckless, The Legacies, My Kind of Trouble, Don’t Hate the Player, Better Than Revenge, and Every Time You Go Away.

I’m currently reading: Unsteady and Bourbon & Secrets.

Next I want to read: Beautiful Ugly, The Right Move, and The Kingdom of Sweets.

Just like listening to Christmas music, I have to watch Christmas movies this time of year. We watched Red One and The Merry Gentlemen recently. I enjoyed both of them!

We’re a couple of days away from Christmas, so I’m still listening to Christmas music. This will change after the new year.
