We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Once again the last two weeks haven’t been too exciting. I was sick for a week and binged Christmas movies while curled up on the couch. Last week, I had issues with the trains every day I went to work. So that wasn’t too fun. I did see a pretty rainbow. On Saturday I had book club. None of us enjoyed the book, so that was fun, haha. Once again, the trains were giving me issues. My boyfriend ended up having to pick me up.
Since my last Royal Update I’ve added five eARCs to my Kindle: Fun for the Whole Family, Back After This, A Fate Forged In Fire, Cursebound, and Any Trope but You.
Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Sheets, Lost and Lassoed, How to Help a Hungry Werewolf, Santa’s Coming, Cruel Winter With You, Just For the Summer, The Chase, A Jingle Bell Mingle, The Thrashers, Once Upon a Christmas Tree, Witch King (DNF), Flopping in a Winter Wonderland, My December Darling, Can I Tell You Something?, and My Dark Romeo.
I’m currently reading: Elfemies to Lovers, A Festive Feud, and Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands.
Next I’ll be reading: A Curse for True Love, Meet Me at Midnight, and Funny Story.
It’s the start of the new season of Christmas movies. So far Netflix has released two Christmas movies I’ve loved: Meet Me at Christmas and Hot Frosty. It’s definitely putting me in a Christmas mood.
I’m still in my Christmas mode, so of course, I’m still listening to Christmas music. Lindsey Stirling just released a deluxe edition of her Snow Waltz album, and that’s what I’ve been listening to.
So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything amazing? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
