I started watching Cross on Prima last week and I have been going to bed way past my bedtime all week long haha. At the end of the week I finished the first season and today I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the show. So let’s get into it!
Series adaptation of James Patterson novels about the complicated and brilliant detective, Alex Cross.
A friend of mine recommended this show to me and I was immediately sucked in. We follow detective Alex Cross as he gets involved in solving a murder case. This case leads to a much bigger case that spans the whole season.
Like I said at the beginning, thanks to this series I went to bed way too late every single time I was watching it. We got some really exciting twists and I enjoyed the storylines a lot! It was pretty gruesome at times but I just couldn’t stop watching.
Without spoiling anything, I was really surprised by the final 2 episodes. They did not go like I thought they would and I loved it. I watch a lot of detective shows and usually I do have a good idea of what will happen. It’s so nice when you can be surprised by a show!
I also really enjoyed the characters in this one, they felt pretty well rounded for a short detective show like this. Hopefully we’ll get another season and they can be even more fleshed out. I would definitely recommend this one! And who knows, I might even pick up the books at some point ;).
