Now that it’s October I feel like it’s time to start thinking about Halloween. And therefor also about spooky books! I have a couple of spooky reads on my TBR I would love to read soon. Let’s take a look at them!

The Archived – V.E. Schwab

This was the first book that came to mind when I thought of this post. I love V, E. Schwab and I love her stories. The Archived series is still on my TBR, I own this gorgeous bundle titled The Dark Vault. I’m really excited to read this one!

A Stranger in the House – Shari Lapena

Of course I had to include a mystery. This one sounds pretty creepy, partly because of the title. But the synopsis was also creepy (but interesting) and it renewed my interest in this one!

A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness

What is October without a witchy story? I love witches in my books (and movies and tv shows). This one has been on my TBR for a long time, but I recently watched the first season of the tv show. Sometimes it makes reading books like these easier for me because I had a mental picture to go with the story.

I have been wanting to read all 3 of these for a while now and I hope I can get to them this spooky season! Which one should I pick up first? Let me know in the comments!
