We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Unfortunately, when this comes online, I’ll be back at work for my first day after my vacation. I know it’s going to be a rough one, haha. The last two weeks have been great though. I had a little beach getaway with my mother one night and we went and saw the Frozen musical. That was so much fun! Having cops knocking on the door across the hall at the hotel wasn’t something I needed, but it did add some excitement. Let’s say we didn’t sleep much after that, haha.

The boyfriend and I also went shopping, we went out to dinner, had our monthly game night, and last Saturday we had our monthly book club. It’s been a great few weeks off. It’s just always frustrating that time goes by so fast when you have time off, haha.

I’ve added one new eARC to my Kindle since my last Royal Update. I loved Ready or Not by this author earlier this year, so I’m excited for her next release. Promise Me Sunshine releases in March 2025.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Magnolia Parks, A Condition Called Love Vol. 6&7, Odd Spirits, The Pairing, Smut, So Wrong, This Cursed Light, Cash, Pawn of Prophecy, The Nightmare Before Kissmas, Casket Case, Kingdom of Ash, Fang Fiction, Once Upon a Broken Heart, and Horimiya Vol. 1&2.

I’m currently reading: Grimstone and So Real.

Next up I’ll be reading: How to Help a Hungry Werewolf and Somewhere Beyond the Sea.

Some shows are starting again now that the fall season is beginning. I watched the first episode of Doctor Odyssey and I’m intrigued. I enjoyed the first episode.

Pixie Lott released a new album and I’ve been listening to that when I do listen to music. I’ve noticed since I’ve been off of work, I haven’t been listening as much as I normally do. That’ll be changing again this week.
