About a week and a half ago the first two episodes of Agatha All Along aired and every Thursday there will be another episode. That means I have now seen 3 episodes out of the 9 we’re getting. And I thought that was the perfect moment to share my first impressions. So let’s jump in!

A spell-bound Agatha Harkness regains freedom thanks to a teen’s help. Intrigued by his plea, she embarks on the Witches’ Road trials to reclaim her powers and discover the teen’s motivations.

Like I said, there will be 9 episodes and they’re all about 40 minutes long. The story is set sometime after WandaVision and it is recommended to watch that before diving into this one. You can still enjoy Agatha without watching WandaVision but I think the show is much better knowing all that happened before. In that same vein, I would also recommend watching The Multiverse of Madness.

I absolutely adored the first 3 episodes and hated that I had to wait for the next one. Especially after watching the first 2, it was a real disappointment not being able to watch another one. There is that quirky feeling WandaVision had, but you get a sense of what’s going on a lot quicker than in WandaVision. I like the characters a lot and I’m already so invested in their quest.

What I loved the most though, the song! The song about the Witches’ Road, that you can also hear in the trailer, was so so good. I immediately had to add it to my Spotify playlist, I could listen to it over and over and over again. It had such a good, witchy vibe and it ensured I will love this series forever haha. There are 6 more episodes and I’m eagerly awaiting every single one of them. Until then I might just rewatch some of the Marvel series and movies…..
