5 On My TBR| Title Starting with an ‘I’

As we’ve mentioned before, one of our most important reading goals of is shrinking our physical TBR’s. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books we still have or what subjects to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is titles starting with an ‘I’. I’ll definitely have to look through my spreadsheet for this one. I wonder if I even have five books that fit this prompt. Let’s take a look!

If I’m Being Honest – Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka

Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka are a married couple who write books together. I’ve enjoyed both young adult and adult books written by this duo. If I’m Being Honest is one of their older books on my shelves and it’s a retelling of The Taming of the Shrew. Sounds interesting to me!

I’m So Not Over You – Kosoko Jackson

All I know about I’m So Not Over You is that it’s about two exes who end up fake dating? So it’s kind of a second chance romance? Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes, so I’ll be surprised if I don’t end up loving this one.

In Deeper Waters – F.T. Lukens

F.T. Lukens gets amazing covers for their books and it makes me want to read all of them. I know they tend to be lighthearted fantasy books. A young prince must rely on  mysterious stranger to save him after being kidnapped. Sounds like a great story to spend a rainy afternoon with.

If We Were Villains – M.L. Rio

I’ve heard great things about If We Were Villains, but I still haven’t read it. I’m not really sure what to expect from this one, but I have a feeling it’ll be very interesting.

Ink Blood Sister Scribe – Emma Torzs

Ink Blood Sister Scribe is one I’m really surprised I haven’t read yet. There are two estranged half-sisters who must guide their family’s library filled with magical books and unravel the collection’s deadly secret. Sounds like my kind of book!

So I actually have 11 books that have titles that start with an ‘I’. I have more than I was expecting. Have you read any of these? Or what books that start with an ‘I’ do you have on your shelves? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
