When I’m writing this I have just 24 hours left until I leave for my trip to the Hungarian Grand Prix and when this comes online I will already be there! We’re going by car so there aren’t any weight restrictions to my luggage, but we’re three people in my small car so I still can’t bring that much. Of course I’ll be bringing my Kindle, but I also want to bring some physical books. And I find it very hard to decide which ones to bring haha. Right now I have 5 books that are a possibility, so I’ll be sharing those with you all. Let’s take a look!
When the Moon Hatched – Sarah H. Parker
This one I’m bringing for sure! I bought it this afternoon with the intention of bringing it on my trip. So even though it’s about 730 (!) pages, this big boy is coming with me. I hope I can finish the whole book on the trip, but I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to actually read to be honest.
The Bone Shard Daughter – Andrea Stewart
I have been wanting to read this book for such a long time now! And I feel like I’ve mentioned it on multiple lists, but I still haven’t picked it up unfortunately. This book sounds like one I would enjoy immensely and I have pretty high expectations for it!
Jade City – Fonda Lee
This is another one I have high expectations for. I have seen nothing but rave reviews and the synopsis sounds like one I would enjoy a lot. It has magic and gangster families who are feuding, sign me up!! This one has been on my TBR for way too long, although I can binge the whole series now so that a positive.
Dune – Frank Herbert
This one is the least likely to make in the cut in the end as this is a reread for me. I have already read it and while I definitely want to reread it before reading the second book in the series, I feel like I can hold off until we get the third movie so if I have to cut a book from this list due to limited space this probably will be the first one to go.
Assistant to the Villain – Hannah Nicole Maehrer
I have started reading this one already and enjoyed what I read so far (even though it wasn’t much yet). The map in the book sold me on getting a physical copy for sure. I’ve seen reviews all over the place and I’m really curious to see where I will fall. Candyce enjoyed it, so let’s hope I will too!
These are the books I’m (probably) taking with me on my trip. I’m currently stressing out over my last minute packing so let’s see what I can actually fit haha. Which books do you hope I have with me? Let me know down below!
How exciting! Enjoy your trip!
