It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

What did you recently finish reading?

The Burning God – R.F. Kuang

I started The Poppy War trilogy a couple of months ago and finally read The Burning God last week. What a ride!! If I’m honest, Rin was annoying me throughout the book, but the author made this a five star read for me with that ending! I only need to read Babel to be caught up with Kuang’s books.

Heavenbreaker – Sara Wolf

Heavenbreaker was another Red Tower book that got a lot of hype before it released and it was receiving some mixed reviews. I went into this book without knowing much and was pleasantly surprised. The competition part of the plot kept my attention and the characters made me want to read more. There were so many twists I wasn’t expecting and after the ending I need more!

What are you currently reading?

Love Unwritten – Lauren Asher

At the moment I’m halfway through Love Unwritten and I’m loving Rafael and Ellie. I’m listening to the audiobook while physically reading and the narrators are amazing. Lauren Asher seems to know how to write love stories I can’t get enough of.

A Letter to the Luminous Deep – Sylvie Cathrall

I actually started A Letter to the Luminous Deep a little while ago, but got distracted by other books. At the moment I’m 70% in and while I can’t exactly tell you the plot of the story, it’s one I’m really enjoying. I love when stories are told through letters and it’s been a heartwarming story so far. It’ll be interesting to see how this one wraps up. I did see on Goodreads that there’s now a series name attached to this one. I didn’t know we’d be getting more books.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Spark of the Everflame – Penn Cole

Spark of the Everflame is a fantasy romance I’ve been seeing everywhere and people have been loving it! It’s time for me to find out what it’s all about. I kind of want to go in blind and just see where the story takes me.

So This Is War – Meghan Quinn

Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite romance authors and I need to read her newest release. She writes swoony and spicy romances and I can’t get enough. I think this is a forbidden romance? I can’t wait to find out. I’ll be surprised if this isn’t a five star read.
